Local teams do well in competition

The Castle Dale Orange Crush team had finished the season in first place, going undefeated. The girls on the team were: Hanna Huntington, Claire Yost, Kailey Jackson, Teryn Allred, Alexis Carter, Eme Oliverson, Stephanie Sasser, Sophie Huntington, Mollee Hurst, Maddee Hurst, Megan Jensen and Kaylee Price. Coaches were Candy Price and Kerry Lake. Mollee and Maddee Hurst were named MVPs for the season. The coaches would like to thank the girls for their hard work and dedication and tell them how proud they are of all of them.

Carbon ll year old all-stars

The 11 year old Carbon All-Star Team Spent July 13-16 in Nephi competing in the Utah South Cal Ripken 11 year old, 70 ft. Baseball Tournament.This team competed against other Southern Division Teams and played four games undefeated. The Carbon All-Stars played against Beaver, Vernal, Richfield and Roosevelt. The team moved on to the Pacific Southwest Regional Tournament which was held in Beaver the week of July 25. They played teams from California, Arizona, Nevada, Guam and Utah.
