	Emery County in behalf of Emery County Housing Authority invites bids
for the renovation of bathrooms and installation of new flooring
throughout 24 apartments located in Castle Dale and Ferron, UT.

	Bathroom Renovation: Wall and ceiling repair and paint, new bathroom
components except tub/shower 

	New Flooring: Placement of new vinyl square tile flooring on existing
vinyl square tile flooring throughout the apartments, with the
exception of the living rooms which are to be installed with carpet
tile on existing square tile flooring.

	This project is funded through a Department of Housing And Urban
Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). The
contractor(s) will be required to comply with all federal labor
standards and attendant laws, including the payment of the most
current Davis-Bacon wages and compliance with Section 3 to provide
employment opportunities for lower income persons. Local, minority and
women owned business owners are encouraged to bid. The best proposal
or lowest responsible bidder will be selected as determined by the
Project Administrator.

	Bidding documents and specifications may be obtained from the office
of Emery County Housing Authority, 75 E Main St., PO Box 551, Room 210
B, Castle Dale, UT 84513, Tel (435) 381-2902, Fax (435) 381-2901. Only
those contractors who attended the previously held mandatory pre-bid
conference and site visit are eligible to bid in response to this

	Sealed bids will be received no later than 5:00 p.m., Friday, March
9, 2012, at the Office of the Clerk Auditor, Brenda Tuttle, 75 E. Main
St., P.O. Box 907, Castle Dale, UT 84513, Fax: 435 381-5183. Bids will
be publicly opened and read at the Emery County Commission meeting,
9:00 a.m., March 13, 2012, Emery County Commission Chambers. Emery
County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any
informality or technicality or to accept bids deemed in the best
interest of Emery County. Emery County is an equal employment
