PUBLIC NOTICE

    
   
Intent to Annex Property

	A Resolution with the intent to annex has been filed in the office of
the Ferron City Recorder for the purpose of annexation of a parcel of
land belonging to Ferron City, located at approximately 400 East and
200 North, an addition to the Ferron City Cemetery, more specifically
described as follows: 

	Beginning at a point which is 459.00 feet South of the Center of
Section 10, Township 20 South, Range 7 East, SLB&M, said point being
on the existing Ferron City Boundary; thence south, 94.50 feet along
said City Boundary; thence East 53.50 feet along said City Boundary;
thence South 445.50 feet along said City Boundary; thence East 242.31
feet; thence North 250.14 feet; thence North 45°34'57" W, 414.15
feet to the point of beginning.

Containing 2.14 Acres more or less.

	A Resolution with the intent to annex was passed by the Ferron City
Council on June 14, 2012. The Resolution and Annexation Map is
available for inspection and copying at the office of the Ferron City
Recorder.  

	Ferron City may annex the area described unless a written protest to
the annexation is filed with the Emery County Boundary Commission
through the Emery County Commission Office at 75 East Main, Castle
Dale, Utah 84513, and a copy of the protest delivered to the Ferron
City Recorder at 20 East Main Street, Ferron, Utah 84523 by July 20,
2012.  A protest to the annexation may be filed by property owners if
it contains the signatures of the owners of private real property
that: (1) is located in the unincorporated area within ½  mile of
the area proposed for annexation; (2) covers at least 25% of the
private land area located in the unincorporated area within ½  mile
of the area proposed for annexation; and (3) is equal in value to at
least 15% of all real property located in the unincorporated area
within ½  mile of the area proposed for annexation.
