The Peach Days soapbox derby will be held Sept. 10. There is no entrance fee, however, drivers must be at least 6 years of age and must have a signed permission slip if they are under 18 in order to participate. Entry forms must be turned in to City Hall by 5 p.m. on Sept. 7. Entry forms and rules are available at City hall during regular business hours. Races will be divided into similar age groups with one race as an open class. Prizes will be awarded to the winning participants and to the cars with the most original design.

The Spartan cheerleaders are putting on a cheer camp for anyone 4-15 years old. On Aug. 2-4 from 9- 11:30 a.m. at the Emery Spartan Center.
