Utah State 4-H Contest Contestants

Seth Jensen, Jacie Fasselin, Misha Johnson, McKay Allred, Whitney Jensen, Baylie Bohn, Maegan Luke, Tawny Conder, Travis O'Neil, Landon Huntsman and Nathan Pollaehne.

Eleven Emery County youth competed in the Utah State 4-H contests held in Logan July 11-13.

They were: Seth Jensen, Jacie Fasselin, Misha Johnson, McKay Allred, Whitney Jensen, Baylie Bohn, Maegan Luke, Tawny Conder, Travis O'Neil, Landon Huntsman and Nathan Pollaehne. Youth participated in horse bowl, horse judging, shooting sports, and web design contests.

The Horse Bowl Team of Jacie Fasselin, McKay Allred, Maegan Luke and Tawny Conder placed first in the State and will represent Utah at the National 4-H Horse Bowl competition in Denver, Colo.

Several of the youth received blue ribbons for their efforts.

The 4-H Horse Bowl Team will be raising funds to go to Nationals and will have a booth at the county fair.

They will be selling Strawberry and Rasberry Lemonade, Cinnamon Rolls and Elk Jerky. Come out and support the youth.

They have also opened an account at Zions Bank and will be accepting donations there.
