Huntington City's Annual Turkey Trot will be held on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 23 at 9 a.m. at the old town hall parking lot. There will be a 5K run and a kids run. Come join us, bring the whole family. Registration is $1.
A Fireman Fiesta on Dec. 1 at the Huntington Senior Center. Dinner will be served from 5-7 p.m. Bring the whole family for dinner and games.

The annual Christmas Extravaganza will be held Dec. 2 at the Emery County Recreation Center in Castle Dale. We are looking for people to provide entertainment that day from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Performances could be any type of musical number, dramatic readings, poetry, stories, dance, drill or any numbers that add to our Holiday event.

The Gingerbread House Festival, a new event in Emery County, will be held Dec. 1-2 at the Emery County Recreation Center. Admission is free. Entries are due by Nov. 30 for the competition, and Dec. 1-2 for viewing only. Everyone who wants to participate should build a gingerbread house and bring it to the festival. If houses aren't your style, try a sleigh or a gingerbread man or woman. These can be done by a group, family or individual. Each creation must be 80 percent edible.
