Editor,
In San Francisco, Senator Hillary Clinton unveiled her proposal for health-care reform, the centerpiece of which is the requirement that individuals purchase health insurance.
Who does she think she is to mandate that I buy anything. How dare she even voice the thought of compelling me, thereby depriving me of one of the most cherished gifts--the gift of agency.
America is the land of choice, not the union of compulsion. She places herself on a pedestal as a savior to the American people. I for one detest her arrogance in thinking she can take away my God given right to choose. This is not Democrat vs. Republican, but rather dictator vs. free Americans.
