The Rocky Mountain School of Baseball will hold its 15th Annual Winter Ball Camp on Jan. 19, 20, and 21 in Mesquite Nev. The camp is for individual players or teams from ages 7 to 18 who will then be divided into age groups. The Castleland RC&D Council, Inc. is in the process of revising their strategic plan, and your input is important to assure that Emery County's resource concerns are addressed in our planning process. We are partnering with the San Rafael Conservation District and the Green River Conservation District to assess the resources in the area. We welcome you to share your input. The Utah Conservation Commission is now taking nominations for three of the five elected board member positions in each of the 38 local conservation districts across the state. Nominations by petition are due at the Conservation Commission office at the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food on or before Jan. 4. Ballots will be mailed the latter part of January.
