After some fruitcake murders his family with a gun or slaughters innocent students at some school with a gun we always seem to hear from the NRA about how guns are good.
The National Rifle Association puts out the argument that guns protect people. They seem to tell us that gun owners have magical powers and can protect us all.
Well - why don't they?
When was the last time you heard a hero story about some gun owners mowing down a few drug dealers?
We usually hear about drug dealers mowing down children - as if murdering children with drugs wasn't enough.
But where are the gun toting hero-warriors we hear about?
The NRA says they are law abiding citizens and that the gun owners aren't the ones firing weapons into our homes, our cars, our businesses and in our streets.
The other day I was in a Walmart and saw a 10 or 11 year old boy walking around with a 45 caliber pistol in his pants.
He ran out of the store - right in front of police officers and security guards.
It's not a lawful nation that allows half-fed and uneducated children to run around with guns.
The next day a gas station attendant was shot in the neck over $25.
Where were the NRA heroes then?
The only people the NRA helps carry guns, sell drugs, and kill innocent people.
