Bushels of Fun since 1901: Annual Peach Days celebration draws crowd

A climbing wall and inflatable toys are set up in the Mayor's Park for games on Saturday at Peach Days after the parade.

Members of the Ferron Youth City Council serve the dinner to the many who came out to the Peach Days dinner.

The annual Peach Days celebration was held last week in Ferron. People came from far and near to celebrate, "Bushels of Fun since 1901" which was the theme for the celebration.

Ferron was also the home of the Arapeen Jamboree which concluded on Thursday with a dinner. Peach Days activities included: horse races, kids games, parade, breakfast, fun run, demolition derby, dinner, exhibits in the city hall, vendors and a dance.

Fireworks were shot from Millsite Reservoir at the annual event. A golf tournament was held at the Millsite Golf Course.
