Lady Pirates defeat Tabby Tigers

Megan Hatt puts up a shot for the Lady Pirates in their winning effort against the Tabby Tigers.

Courtney Carter led the Lady Pirates in double figures with 14 points, as Green River broke open a close game in the third quarter, outscoring Tabiona 19-7. Megan Hatt-12 points, Sarah Swalberg-11, Cady Mecham and Jill Vetere-six points each and two points each for Michaela Hughes and Tracy Engleman. Green River shot 61.9 percent from the free-throw line compared to Tabiona's 25 percent.
