Green River Medical Center (GRMC) is soliciting proposals to provide a
building addition, exterior improvements and interior remodeling to
their existing building located at 585 West Main Street, Green River,
Utah as defined by the Contract Documents.

	Bidding Documents are included within the project manual and drawings
dated March 24, 2010, prepared by the Architect.

	This project is funded with a grant made available by The American
Recovery and Reinvestment Act.  The Contractor will be required to
comply with all federal labor standards and attendant laws, including
the payment of the most current Davis-Bacon wages and use of products
manufactured in the United States as indicated within the Summary of
Work. 

	One set of printed Bidding Documents, and one CD with electronic
files of documents,  per general contractor, will be available at the
offices of the Owner, no sooner than 10:00 AM, Tuesday, March 30,
2010. A $75 refundable deposit, in the form of a check made payable to
"Green River Medical Center", will be required to obtain documents. 
Deposit checks will be returned to contractors upon receipt of
documents returned in good condition after bidding. 

	Documents can also be viewed and downloaded on-line from Hyline Paper
& Reprografix's FTP site at ftp://69.2.248.51/, using log-on password
obtained from the Owner upon registering as a planholder. 
Alternatively, documents can be obtained from Hyline Paper &
Reprografix, LLC, 1760 South 450 West, Salt Lake City, Utah 84115,
phone 801-533-8066, at a non-refundable cost to the contractor
requesting documents. 

	In order to be considered responsive, sealed bids are to be submitted
on the bid form copied from the Project Manual and shall be submitted
to the Owner, care of Green River City, no later than 3:00 p.m.,
Tuesday, April 27, 2010.  Please note that time is of the essence for
this contract.  Bids will be evaluated based on a combination of the
proposal amount and the number of days proposed to substantially
complete the Work.   
Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the offices of Green
River City, City Council Chambers on the day and time stipulated for
the submittal of bids.  An abstract of bids will be made available to
bidders.
Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope as stipulated in the
Instructions to Bidders.  Bids shall be sent via U.S. Mail, commercial
carrier or hand delivered.  Bids will not be accepted by facsimile. 
Bids received after the time stipulated for receipt of bids will be
returned unopened.

	A pre-bid conference will be held at the project site at the time and
date indicated within the Instructions to Bidders.
The project will require a Performance Bond, Payment Bond, Liability
Insurance, Workers' Compensation Insurance and current Utah State
contractor license.

	The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and waive
any informality or technicality in any proposal in the interest of the
Owner.
