Public Notice Of Availability

    
The Utah State Office of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has
approved an application for the partial relinquishments of Federal
coal leases SL-064607-064621, SL-066116, U-02664,  U-024319, UTU-47978
and UTU-47979 held by PacifiCorp, c/o Interwest Mining Company,  1407
West North Temple, Suite 310, Salt Lake City, Utah 84116, on December
14, 1995.  Based on these partial relinquishments PacifiCorp wants to
modify the East Mountain Logical  Mining Unit (LMU), UTU-73336, in
accordance with 43 CFR 3487.   The proposed LMU modification is
available for review at the BLM, Utah State Office, 440 West 200
South, Suite 500, Salt Lake City, Utah.

	The LMU modification would withdraw a portion of the lands contained
in Federal coal leases  SL-064607-064621, SL-066116, U-02664,
U-024319, UTU-47978 and UTU-47979 from the LMU.  The description of
the lands contained within the modified area to be released from the
East Mountain LMU is as follows:
