There are currently a little more than four hundred thousand acres of Wilderness Study Areas (WSAs) in Emery County which were designated by Congress in 1983. Would you support federal legislation which would designate these WSAs as wilderness if the same legislation also protected open OHV routes, protected current livestock grazing practices and allowed for current oil and gas exploration stipulations?

Much has been said over the past few years about the broadcast of public television and the upcoming switch to digital broadcast signals.
Many areas chose to proceed with the scheduled switch, even though the national deadline has been postponed until June.
Emery County made the change on Feb. 17. Were you prepared for the switch?
